Sunday Group Lessons at The Plaza Arts Center

This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in taking a series of programmed lessons based on a nationally recognized Ballroom & Latin dance syllabus- DVIDA.

What Is DVIDA?

The Dance Vision International Dance Association has developed a syllabus that is recognized by the National Dance Council of America. The syllabus is comprised of patterns that are easy to learn. Plus, it progresses through the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in a gradual and consistent manner conducive to attaining a rewarding and useful prowess for Ballroom & Latin Dance.

Who Should Attend?

Our initial classes will be designed for beginner dancers or those who believe they would benefit from learning a well organized set of patterns and technique by participating in programmed group lessons.

Why Programmed Lessons?

Learning through a programmed system of dance can be compared to building a house. You must start with the foundation and build from the ground up. It is very difficult to go back and correct mistakes in a foundation after the building has been completed. Therefore it is important to learn fundamentals the right way the first time!

Due to the 4^th of July holiday we will be conducting only three group lessons from 3 to 5pm on July 13^th, 20^th & 27^th. Next month we will schedule a four week series featuring a different dance.
